I think that part of living is questioning where we come from and where we go. It gives us something to think about. How boaring would life be if we knew how it all happened and we knew where we would end up? I agree with you juggalo at some point you just gotta pick something to believe and hope for the best...none the less its all very interesting to listen to how others think. I understand where your coming from with the whole god thing. And i'm sure we are all glad to hear that you don't have the mexican flu

i call my self christian cause i beleive in god... but im not christian cause i dont belive most of the bible it was written by man so doomed to be flawed and then further editied by man makin it worse so we gotta just take the lessons we soposed to learn outa it i hate religion and no being christian was never soposed to be a religion so it aint really a cintradiction im more of like first century christian but nothing like it... and i never said god was good there wouldnt be evil if he/she/it didnt create it cause im srry i aint gonna beleive that this whole fuckin universe is a random chance of big bang b/c where the fuck did the things that hit together come from and the idea of creatin each other and everything to me is just fucking ignorant talk of smart people if this was so we could just blinmk everything out its all to much and even if this was so then god is real cause people creat it but that would mean that to each person theres another god... i dont know these thing hurt my head so u just got make your mind on somn eventually i guess and hope the best hapens

Ive never really viewed god as a being but as an energy that is beyond humanity. And that energy is in EVERYTHING. I dont believe the common religous practices that if you pray to god everything will be okay and if you dont sin you will go to heaven lalalalala. I think all that shit was made up and put into books so people would follow everybody else. And if you werent going to believe in it and follow it, you were a sinner who is going to hell. So of course if it was forced upon you enough you were going to fucking believe! My opinions on this shit could go on forever and ever, but I do believe in a higher power and I think that power is in every single person. We just want to believe in something, like god, that will help us and fix our problems when in reality we can do everything on our own. People just want to be assured that they are good people and thats what religion provides, assurance.

NAture is full of contradiction. QUantum Physics will teach you that. None the less, I'm an anarchist and still live by capitalism. But luckily I don't make enough for that money to taint my spirit. So i'm a contradiction.

to make it easier i claim the Taoist philsophy.

I am everything and I am nothing.

your opinion is quite factual for an opinion. haha
none-the-less, well put had to give ya Kudos on the response.
My feelings are quite similar about religion.

Everything IS energy...the birds the grass the chair your sitting on, the food you eat, ALL ENERGY vibrating at different frequencies, that our brains interpret as material things (giving particles/waves solidity).

that may seem a lil off topic, but still very related.
(hard for me to talk about religion without talking about what "reality" is)
so i'll just leave it at that.

long story short, like FearNOEvil mentioned below, Defining God is different for everyone.
Its Belief. Belief = To Not Know. To Trust In.
U can think of the bible as a REEEEEAAAALLLYYYY long, old game of telephone.
the story, values, life lessons, and secrets have ALL been lost/changed so drastically that the original story is almost no longer there. you only get bits and pieces the rest is filler to induce the brainwashing to conform to certain favorable characteristics that pertain to that specific group or religions beliefs. there's that word belief again.
So the ones whom have TRUE knowledge of the secrets of life and the workings of man, are NOT going to openely discuss them with you (general public). They will keep them buried only for the elite class/families to know, then modify current knowledge of the masses so that they are that five steps FURTHER from the truth. Keeps competition at bay. u know...the 99% work for the 1%, type of thing. Their making sure that you never dig too deep and get where you wanna be. just work you for 10 hours a day 5 days a week for 50+ years, traffic, bullshit news, Ipods, American Idol, Superbowl, Swine Flu, Anthrax, false flag operations, everything all designed to keep you "entertained" so that you wont get curious and ask questions, or worse...rebel. you wont have time to...you are too stressed out with your day to day, you forget why your here. you work the majority of your life, filling their pockets, and they keep feeding you debt in return. Perpetual debt. "Slavery is alive and well in America"

i gotta go...i'll keep ranting for hours. hope that planted some seeds in some of ya'lls minds, even though i didnt give a clear answer to the questions lol.

Love ya'll, Hed and the orphans.

"You Don't Know What You Don't Know"

"Whether you think you can or can't, either way your right."

"If you dont know you can, you can't. If you don't know you can't you can."

"What you REALLY REALLY REALLY want in life, you get. What you REALLY REALLY REALLY don't want, you also get."

Haha are you sure you know what you’re getting yourself into?? j/k.

The interpretation of god is different for everyone. A lot of us are taught as young children that god is a man that sits on a throne in heaven he knows and sees everything. Personally I think that’s a bunch of hooha it made for good bedtime stories as a kid though…

The Bible isn't written by any divine creature, it was written by the hands of men! Through out history the Bible has been translated into dozens of different versions. A lot of the problem is that when translating one language to another a lot of translations can be lost or changed in the process. Books of the original bible were even taken out because of the “graphic content” of them; as a result It has many contradictions in it. My biggest problem with it is, if god is all seeing all powerful and all knowing a god of kindness compassion and forgiveness why is he flooding the earth? and killing people in every other story.....? Why would he be afraid of Man getting knowledge in the Garden of Eden? We are supposed to be created in his image so why are we considered sinful and judged, punished, and sent to hell? God on the other hand can cause mass genocide demand animal sacrifice and give dieses, pain, and suffering Yet he is always good and pure and divine….? Down to the point, the bible and god and all of that Christian doctrine to me is an example of Brain Wash at its finest, created to put fear into humanity. I only talk about christianity because thats what i've learned the most about, organized religion in general is brain wash.

I do believe in god. god for me is more of an energy or a life force rather then a all powerful man on a throne. I think there are things you can take from all religions and apply them to your life in order to obtain a more peaceful way of living. I find things all the time in learning about different religions that ring true to me, although im partial to buddhism.

I don’t hate any religion, but what I do hate is what organized religion gives birth to which is judgmental, close minded, hypocritical individuals, that think they have the right to judge people based upon lifestyles, and beliefs. We as humans need to breakaway from organized religion in order to reach higher thought and leave these nonsensical ideals and notions behind us.
    That's my opinion
