Greetings, I am writing in reference to my student loan which is now delinquent. I spoke with a representative yesterday who was very understanding and helpful with my situation. Obviously she deals with these situations very often and seemed immune to my personal circumstances. This will be my third deferment that I have applied for in the past 2 years. Your institution has been very understanding and generous in granting them, which I am thankful for, but my current credit score is now what I would refer to as "through the basement." The real problem will surface again next spring at the end of this next deferment, when your institution wants payments made monthly. I simply do not have those resources available to me, and do not expect to have them in the near future. For approximately the past 6 months I have been living a transient lifestyle. I would not say homeless due to the charity and generosity of my family and friends. But I have come close to that and had literally no money and no place to stay at several points in time. I had to end the contract on my cellular phone and stop paying on several credit cards, and of course my student loan. These trials in transient living have opened my eyes to the true graveness of the current economic situation that we face in this country. I have been thankful though to receive food stamps from the good state in which I reside. Do you know how hard it is to do anything in our society without an actual phone number or address? Let alone the looming feeling that when I finally do get some money rolling in, some financial institution is going to be waiting to take it and even garnish wages if they have to. ...

| It has come to my attention lately that we had better start focussing on our community. There has been much buzz lately and some McCarthyist tactics involving the word socialism and beneath that, especially for the elder generations, communism. We live in a community as part of a larger society, one can see that the roots of the words are very similar, but I believe we should not bind ourselves so strongly to the images and out dated stigmas attached to these words. We should focus on all the empty foreclosed houses sitting and ever growing jobless, disenchanted labor pool hanging around waiting for an email or call about some minimum wage job to try and keep their homes. Let alone decent nutrition and some quality of life in the form of leisure time. These American values are becoming corroded in the face of a new value rising to meet us all, Survival. And its not about the paper or electronic money itself in this situation. That is only a means to an end in the form of food, water, shelter, and the means to keeping those coming. Threaten those values in any form, and you can witness as our society splits at its seems, engulfed in chaos. Never underestimate the will of hungry people who have nothing else to lose. So the question is, what can we do about this in our communities????!!!! Lets wake up. |

WHAT WE CAN DO Greetings all, hope everyone aboard is feeling good on a lovely Saturday such as this. I believe it is important in all this sorta anti NWO type of thinking to focus on what we can do as individuals out there. It is so easy to watch a Youtube video and get the brain going about this, that, and the other thing and wonder yourself right into a dark corner, despairing about how the whole world is evil and seemingly everyone is in on it. I have done this to some level, I think it is natural for a logical brain to do this, and just suppose so many dark possibilities when a lack of clear cut truths confronts us. So....what can we do? We can get organized with ourselves first. We are our own worst enemies and I truly believe this. Meditate on this in whatever way and put aside any pride or ego in order to delve into the deep, dark truth of who you really are. It is not always so easy to do and big respect goes out to those who can do this, unbiased. What have you been doing for yourself or to yourself for both positive and negative and DONT be naive!! Weight it out, what can you change. Quit eating twinkies and donuts, sodas and hi-c, microwave dinners, and any artificial/ pre-packaged foods in large quantities. We all break down on some In n' Out or Jack in The Crack sometimes, but these are important action...

Enlightnement or realization of life and specifically our purpose and who we are on this earth, comes to us all in different ways. I recently returned to my newly adopted hometown after a third contamplative roadtrip since the end of March 2010. I find these "trips" more beneficial than drug induced hallucinogeic ones at this stage in my life, and also easier on the nervous system. After all, I blasted into space ignorant and searching for a cause years ago, and I found what that was and came back to my body, why now would I continue to leave it regularly? The purpose we seek is so often within us all along, we just need to lose everything and really clean out the trash to see it clearly. My own purpose was fungally introduced to me with the help of some herb. NYC central park on a beautiful spring day surrounded by a swelling mass of toxic energy. Not really the place to do this type of soul searching in my opinion, but what doesen't kill us.........makes us stronger. After deep contemplation and experience of extrasensory perception, telekinesis, extra-terrestrials, and the involvement of musicians and artists on this planet within the movement, I found a small amount of sleep that next morning. I was engulfed with questions with no absolute answers, hallucinations of another world, and an unspeakable fear of my life and where I might be headed in this world or the next. But the fear becomes normal, and to quote the words of Leonidas, "accepting it makes you stronger." ...

So, this Arizona law seems to be bringing so-called immigration up a lot. Here is my take on it. The people that are called Mexicans, are in fact the indigenous peoples of the southern part of North America. They are Native North Americans. A group of many different tribes of what people used to call Indians. As far as I am concerned, they have as much right to be here as anybody. For some history, please click the link at the bottom. What makes this country great is the many different cultures. Irish, Scottish, Japanese, Korean, Brazillian, Mexican…on and on and on. God Bless America!!! My parents came here from Brazil, and I love this country with all my heart. But I must also say that I am not some blind patriot. I love THIS PLANET. Everyone should own a globe, and realize how big and beautiful this world is. Read further for some interesting facts about the so-called Mexicans. As stated earlier, the term Mexican, refers to a beautiful, cross culture of many different tribes. Mayan, Aztecs, Inca, these are few of the tribes. Here is some background: Webster's dictionary defines mestizo as "a person of mixed blood; a person of mixed Spanish and Amerindian blood." It is necessary to understand this as many persons with Hispanic surnames have been mis-identified by the government and ignorant people as simply "Hispanics" or "Mexican." Actually, many such people are of Native-American-Spanish lineage. The link below further elaborates: http://sonic.net/~doretk/ArchiveARCHIVE/NATIVE%20AMERICAN/TheMestizo-Mexicano-Indi.html
