Sorry i've been gone for awhile. I've been focusing on the positive, and on DOING productive things. I think this is a great post. We are warriors of Light. Yes, you're right. We're getting very used to sharing everything about ourselves online to voyeurs we've never met all over the world... so why wouldn't we submit to mandatory RFID "for our own safety and protection?" Especially for the "safety and protection" OF THE CHILDREN! The idea of "having nothing" is gradually becoming more and more attractive to me. The less you have, the less you have to lose. And there really is some peace in living free like an animal. Your only worries are food, water and shelter. (And maybe getting laid. That wouldn't be so easy.) As government cracks down on people who work harder than the rest of us and make more money than us, it makes me feel less iclined to work harder and make more money. Mexican, bless you for your bravery! I hear reports now that Obama is having (was it 20,000?) US troops trained for urban warfare here in the US to quell the apparently inevitable riots and uprisings "due to the economic downturn." Of course, that has been an ongoing project since at least Bush Jr, if not Sr, and i think most of can agree that it is not an "economic downturn" that is making the natives so restless. Those asian yogis are SO AMAZING. I have a hard time sometimes just using self-hypnosis to put myself to sleep. And they can just put themselves in a trance and wake up 100 years later going "oh, how long was i out?" He's only talking. He has already stated that he's shipping more troops to Afghanistan, so all that's really happening is that they're being shuffled around. That way his supporters will believe that he is doing what they voted for him to do (remove troops from Iraq) and then they will hang on to whatever escuse he uses to do troop buildups elsewhere. When I first read Popul Vuh (the Mayan "Bible"), I was so annoyed with stories that were obviously fairy tales that it was really hard for me to stay interested. It's not a very long book, but it took me awhile to get through it. The stories were REALLY NONSENSE, and anyone with a logical mind could see that. It wasn't until I finished the ancient book and started reading the scholarly commentaries at the end that my eyes opened up and I was REALLY SHOCKED at what I had just read. We HAVE TO resist! First, WITHDRAW FROM THE SYSTEM (become self-employed, stop using your SS number, report nothing to government or IRS, own very little, don't leave a paper trail). Second, make friends with others who have withdrawn from the system. Create community with "Outsiders." Third, use barter and, if necessary, gold and silver coin for trade. My last comment (below) was really in the wrong attitude. (Sorry.) Whatever (hed) thinks of the current reigning monarch, Renegade is still as true today as it was last year. It still needs airplay and needs to be heard. I do want to help get it out there, but I don't see an Arizona station listed. 420, I'm guessing you're right. Myspace is notorious as a place to pick up viruses and spyware (my computer always finds several spyware leaches whenever i go to Myspace). To help solve the problem, all external links now go first through the "be careful, you are now leaving Myspace" warning page, which is definitely a "redirect." They did that apparently because people were creating fake Myspace pages to phish info and attach viruses. Now they use the redirect page to warn you that whatever the page you...... more

Renegade is a FANTASTIC song, very worthy of airplay. I can't listen to that CD though without getting sick (much less request a song from it), because of hed's support of the current Big Brother in the White House. It tells me that New World Orphans was not so much a rant against global fascism, but a rant against the "Republican party," and in support of the "Democrat party." The "global warming" problem is so complex, it's an argument i usually try to stay out of. When you read MULTIPLE, DISAGREEING scientists, you find that the problem is CLIMATE CHANGE, more than "warming." The planet is behaving in the way you would expect it to if the atmosphere is DEPLETING. Meaning that when it should be cold, it's colder than it should be, and when it should be warm it's warmer than it should be. The "earmarks" in this bill are expenses, as the bill is a budget bill. I think you are giving this very corrupt politician way too much trust. OBAMA BETRAYS HIS VOTERS On the campaign trail, Obama had specifically stated that he would abolish ALL EARMARKS. Earmarks are those little expenditures in a finance bill that are personal favors to politicians who will be voting on the bill. VERY TRUE. It took me many years of making all the money i really needed and fuming about how "poor" i was, before i finally noticed that "wealth" and "poverty" are relative to how the Joneses are living. Most "poor" people in the US live better than most "comfortably well-off" people in third world countries. I think we would all be SO MUCH HAPPIER if we just thought about our economic situations like, "Do i have enough to eat? Do i have adequate winter clothing? Do i have shelter?" Mamba- unfortunately we DO see our tax dollars at work on a daily basis, doing various things that, collectively, we are all OPPOSED TO. We are not all opposed to the same uses of our tax money, but every one of us is opposed to a great many of the ways in which our tax money is used. Bad Mamba- as far as i know the changes affect 501C3's and donations to any incorporated "charitable organizations." (You already don't get a write-off for donating to an unincorporated or unregistered charity.) Sometime i hope to get to read it myself and get a little more educated on the details. Mamba- your sentiment is mine exactly. I give 10% of my income mostly to individuals i run across who are in need, and partially to organizations i believe in. I have never written any of that off on taxes (because after business expenses i've never had enough money left over to itemize that way. Or, at present, to pay taxes on). Just a slight (related) correction. I found out today that Obama's plan will not COMPLETELY eliminate the write-off for charitable contributions. It reduces the write-off to ...... more
