The whole Israel/Muslim thing has been going on for centuries. Both sides have just as much right to the area as the other. That is where is the problem arises. Did you know that there are huge portions of Israel where archeologists are not allowed to dig for fear that either side will find something that is older and thus cement their claim to the area. Thanks for the response. I fell away from Hed PE for a few years and when I found my way back I was pleasantly surprised with the things Jared was talking about and the community here. I had slowly been heading in this direction on my own but since I rediscovered Hed PE my eyes have been opened much more faster then before. Its nice to talk to people about it and hear things from other perspectives.... more

My big question has always been where do we draw the line? We want to give people the benefits of our laws while they are not US citizens and their whole life is dedicated to destroying us. In order to defeat the terrorists shouldn't we be willing to do whatever is necessary? But then the other school thought says that we should be better then that. I'm not sure exactly where I stand. My big worry is these people are out to destroy us and our culture. The US isn't perfect but it is better then anything e...... more

Well said FreedomFighter! The power should truly lie with the people and not the government. The job of the government should be to protect the people. However our government has gone away from that. Instead they only protect the corporations. What we really need to do is spend this money on things that help to empower the poor of this country.
